Terms of Use — Candle & Soap Calculator

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Vladimir Lukashov ("we", "us") for use of the Candle & Soap Calculator app ("the App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. This also serves as the End User License Agreement required by the App Store.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Apple devices. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law.

2. One-time purchase

The App offers a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks its features. There is no subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and handled by Apple. Restores are available via the App. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

3. Safety disclaimer — IMPORTANT

The App provides calculations and reference values only. Soap making involves sodium hydroxide (lye), a caustic chemical that can cause serious injury.

Always double-check lye, water, and superfat amounts before mixing.
Wear appropriate protection and follow safe soapmaking practice.
SAP values, fragrance loads, and fill factors are guidance based on common references and may vary by supplier, oil, and wax. Verify against your supplier's data and your fragrance oil's IFRA limits.
You are solely responsible for your recipes and results.

4. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that results are safe for any use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, injury, or loss arising from use of the App or reliance on its calculations. Your total remedy is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

5. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

6. Apple

This EULA is between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the App or support and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
